Sherkow\, M.D. Children & Autistic Spectrum DisordersSusan Sherkow\, MD\, founded the Sherkow Center for Child Development and AutismSpectrum Disorder in 2009 as a not-for-profit to promote the optimal development ofchildren\, adolescents\, and their families through treatment\, education and research. Dr.Sherkow integrates her practice of child and adolescent psychiatry and psychoanalysiswith a neurodevelopmental perspective to offer innovative effective interventions forchildren with autism spectrum and other developmental differences. She leads amultidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.Susan P. Sherkow\, MD\, is a training and supervising analyst at the BerkshirePsychoanalytic Institute and Society and an instructor and supervising analyst at theNew York Psychoanalytic Institute and Society. She is also an assistant clinicalprofessor at the Mt. Sinai and Albert Einstein Colleges of Medicine. \n\n\n\nEducational Objectives: \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nThe presenter has  no relevant financial relationships with ineligible companies to report. \n\n\n\n\n\nParticipants are asked to be aware of the need for privacy and confidentiality throughout the program. The Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute maintains responsibility for this program and its content. CPI is licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to sponsor continuing education credits for (license numbers in parentheses): Social Workers (159.000122)\, Professional Counselors (197.000202)\, Marriage and Family Therapy Therapists (168.00204)\, and Clinical Psychologists (268.000091).  \n\n\n\n\n\nEligible professionals will receive 1.0 continuing education credits for attending the entire program. To receive these credits an evaluation form must be completed online.
