I am a psychotherapist specializing in addiction and disordered eating. Whether you are questioning if you have a dependency, or grappling with addiction – your own or others’ – I can help you navigate this process.
During a period of psychotherapy I will listen closely to what you say and make psychological observations and psychological comments. You will hear your own thoughts in new ways and experience feelings you might never have known before. Together, this way of working will allow for new ideas to form about yourself and for you to better clarify your issues.
In short, I aim to help you better understand your relationship to substances or behaviors, or to the person who suffers from addiction. With gained insight, I hope to help you to reduce your suffering in your work relationships, or, in your personal relationships with family, friends, and significant others that have been complicated by the addiction.
