Sandy Davidson

Psychotherapy Fellow

Mental health therapist in Chicago offering talk therapy to emerging adults and adults. Together, we will begin to construct your unique history to gain an understanding of your current situation.

I am now doing the work I have always wanted to: I have re-entered the workforce as a psychotherapist to help you during a difficult period in your life. This is achieved by providing a period of supportive and empathic psychotherapy to share things you may otherwise not be comfortable disclosing. Therapy will provide a physical and emotional space where you are listened to carefully, seen, and heard in a safe, confidential, non-judgmental way. Together, we will begin to construct your unique history and story to gain a deeper understanding of your current situation. This understanding can help to relieve mental pain, anxiety, and depression. Psychotherapy can also serve as a space to gain new insights through sensitive, thoughtful conversations about your emotional, psychological, or relational problems that cause suffering. This provides an opportunity to review, reflect, and begin to understand why you feel the way you do. My life experiences have given me a unique perspective on various types of relationships and challenges. I have learned how to navigate conflicts, competing obligations, career changes, transitional periods when personal goals or ambitions shift, and how to manage and work through grief. If my approach resonates with you, please reach out to schedule an appointment or consultation.
