I am an LCSW, graduate of the University of Chicago Masters Program in clinical social work. I also attended the four year program at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute, “Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Training Program.” In addition, I completed the University of Chicago’s “The Social Work with Older Adults Program.” I have extensive experience in treating both children and adults who have suffered a loss. My focus now is on adults. Adults who are having difficulty with the loss of a loved one; having trouble accepting the aging process; and may find life depressing and/or anxiety provoking. There may be difficulties from your past that are affecting the present, patterns you may want to stop repeating with yourself or in relationships. Understanding how your past affects the now can be very helpful to resolve current problems. I offer a safe and nurturing space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we will work to gain and understanding of the underlying patterns and dynamics that have shaped your life. I am currently accepting a limited number of new clients. I can work on line and some in-person.
