My education and career are grounded in the practice of clinical psychology, in which I work to facilitate positive change in the lives of individuals of all ages. Through the development of a therapeutic relationship, my patients consistently come to experience their lives in richer, deeper, more satisfying ways that serve as a basis for ongoing personal growth. I bring to my private practice a broad range of clinical experience in hospitals, community-based clinics, and private practice. along with this, I have post-doctoral training in family and couples treatment, as well as formal training in psychoanalysis completed at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute. Over the course of my career, I have taught at three universities and have held leadership positions in the business of behavioral healthcare and in a variety of professional guild organizations. In addition to my clinical work, I am the proprietor of a consulting firm, C. Sloan Consulting, which consults with businesses and executives in organizational assessment, strategic planning, and executive coaching.
