J. Dakota Cimo, Ph.D.

Dakota Cimo has been in private practice since 2006 and is President of CoCreate Psychotherapy and Analysis. I am interested in the many ways the body mind works to expand or restrict peoples place and position in the world and how relational experiences can potentially unlock or broaden that experience. . My interests are in creativity, trauma, and body mind connection. I have an avid interest in the arts as well as my early training is in fine art where I earned a BFA. My theoretical orientation is built on the work of Freud, Winnicott, Kohut and Bion.
