Holly Johnston

Holly Johnston, PhD, is a training and supervising analyst for both the adult and child analytic training programs and teaches object relations and writing in PEP and PPP.

Holly’s clinical practice has included parent-infant psychotherapy, floortime (DIR) therapy with young neurodivergent children and their parents, psycnological testing of children and adults, consultation to Head Start and preschool programs, along with analytic treatment of children and adults. She has taught writing of clinical reports, child analytic technique, and object relations theory with a specific focus on Donald Winnicott and the Independents. Research and clinical interests have been in severe developmental disturbances, including schizophrenia, bipolar, and autistic disorders.
