Judith Schiffman LCSW has been Director of the Institute’s Barr-Harris Children’s Grief Center since 2008. She has also served as the Assistant Director of the Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Program. She has worked with children and their families for more than 25 years, with a special interest in parent and sibling loss.
Affiliations:
Ms. Schiffman has served as an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University in the Department of Psychiatry, where she has taught in a graduate program that trains genetic counselors.
Education:
She received her MSW degree from the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Program at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute.
