In Spring 1934, renowned British psychoanalyst Melanie Klein’s son, Hans, died while hiking in the mountains. Was his death an accident or suicide?

Witnessed by Klein’s protégée Paula, Mrs. Klein and her daughter, Melitta, engage in a fierce struggle as they wrestle with this question. Fueled by tangled personal history and professional rivalry, their conflict unfolds, revealing a story of love, hate, loss, betrayal, mourning, reparation, and possible transformation.

Any additional donations are welcome and will support this and future productions by Play Therapy Theatre Workshop.

The post-reading talk-back will continue in a relaxed setting with refreshments, spirits, and light snacks available for purchase.
