Celia Brickman PhD, LCPC is a psychotherapist and scholar of psychoanalysis. She works with adults from all walks of life who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship problems or simply finding their way in difficult times. She is licensed as a professional counselor.
Affiliations:
Dr. Brickman is a scholar-in-residence at the Center for Religion and Psychotherapy of Chicago, where she previously was Director of Education and a faculty member. Special interests include issues of race and ethnicity, and the spiritual/religious dimensions of emotional life. She also writes on these topics.
Education:
Dr. Brickman received her PhD from the University of Chicago’s Divinity School.
