Denia Barrett teaches in both CPI's adult and child/adolescent Psychoanalytic Education Programs.

Denia Barrett is Co-Editor-in-Chief of The Psychoanalytic Study of the Child and serves on the editorial board of Psychoanalytic Social Work. She is the former Editor-in-Chief of the journal Child Analysis: Clinical, Theoretical, and Applied. She is a member of The International Psychoanalytic Association, The American Psychoanalytic Association, and The Association for Child Psychoanalysis (ACP). She is a former ACP President. She has presented locally, nationally, and internationally. She has written on clinical work, ethics, supervision.

Denia Barrett is co-editor, along with Jack Novick, Kerry Novick, and Thomas Barrett, of the Parent Work Casebook and has book chapters in a number of works. Her articles and book reviews have appeared in Child Analysis: Clinical, Theoretical, and Applied, The Psychoanalytic Study of the Child, Psychoanalytic Inquiry, Psychoanalytic Social Work, The International Journal of Psychoanalysis, Jahrbuch der Kinder- und Jugendlichen-Psychoanalyse, and Vetnik MPO [The Bulletin of the Moscow Psychoanalytic Society.
