José Antonio Hernández Zeind, LCPC

Psychotherapy Fellow

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with 10 years of experience in clinical settings and psychosocial intervention, bilingual in Spanish and English, offering psychodynamic psychotherapy in Chicago.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, a graduate of the Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco, and I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Psychoanalysis. My background includes work in diverse schools, hospitals, and universities across Mexico and the U.S., where I have evaluated and supported children, adolescents, and adults through both clinical care and psychosocial research. I work from a place of curiosity, authenticity, and respect, offering a warm, thoughtful, and collaborative space where we can explore what’s happening beneath the surface. My therapeutic approach is psychodynamic, with a strong focus on the therapeutic relationship as a key part of the process. Together, we will explore your emotions, relationships, and life experiences in meaningful ways that support growth, insight, and deeper self-understanding. I am currently accepting new clients. If you are considering therapy, I warmly welcome you to submit an inquiry to get in touch with the Treatment Center team.
