The Institute has been able to adapt rapidly to COVID-19 circumstances, and we are fully open for business. What this means is that we can process applications to all of our programs, with the only exceptional factor being that interviews will be conducted remotely.
We are very fortunate here at the Institute to have over five years’ experience with remote education. As a result, two weeks ago, we had the technical infrastructure and staff technical expertise in place allowing us to rapidly convert to all-distance education for the duration of the pandemic restrictions. Our teachers and supervisors have experience working remotely and many clinicians in our community are comfortable with distance treatment. While, like everyone else, we value in-person connection and presence, and can’t wait to get back to normal, we’re grateful for this unexpected leg up on the current difficulties.
