In July, Institute Faculty Virginia Barry MD met up with Professor Mark Solms PhD, Director of Neuropsychology at the Neuroscience Institute at the University of Cape Town. Dr Solms is a neuropsychoanalyst who has spent his career exploring topics with profound relevance for psychoanalysts, including topics of emotion, consciousness, dreaming and more. He is an adjunct faculty member at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute.
Virginia and Mark discussed his latest book, published in 2021 entitled, The Hidden Spring: a Journey to the Source of Consciousness.
